ABOUT HANGWHEEL

HANGWHEEL is a US born invention, designed as a solution for bike transport on a truck bed. The product is manufactured in Colorado, USA. Designed and patented in 2016 - patent #9,321,408, it's  creator believes that the simplest solutions are often the best.

Lightning Fast Set Up Time

 Your HANGWHEEL will arrive pre-assembled, see image.

 **Applies to first time set up only. Check that the strap length allows for the two channels to align on the tailgate. Adjust if necessary using center strap tire bungee. Additional customization options are available, see video below. 

3. ATTACH TO FRAME

 With your bike on the ground connect one tire bungee to the underside of the down tube, see image below.

 Turn the handlebars 90 degrees and connect the other side of the HANGWHEEL to the front fork. The handle bars can be turned 90 degrees in either direction depending on which side you want the tire to lay. If stacking multiple bikes, turn the handle bars in the same direction.

 With the tailgate in the closed position, place the HANGWHEEL directly onto the tailgate with the handlebars facing outward.  

6. TEST FOR STABILITY & ALIGNMENT

  Lay your tire on an emblem or light lens or alternatively affix the sticker provided to prevent paint scratches. Check that your bike is held firmly in place and adjust using customization if necessary.

2. SEt hangwheel on tailgate**

3. Attach hangwheel to FRAME

With your bike on the ground connect one tire bungee to the underside of the down tube, see image below.


4. attach hangwheel to front fork

5. lift bike & hangwheel onto tailgate

6. test for stability & alignment

Lay your tire on an emblem or light lens or alternatively affix the sticker provided to prevent paint scratches. Check that your bike is held firmly in place and adjust using customization if necessary.

All of the above steps can be performed standing inside of the truck bed to ease additional strain. With practice, installation should take less than 1 minute per bike. See demonstration video.
